	Instead of bombarding their enemy's mind with psychic attacks, more powerful psionicists may find that a more subtle form of attack is more effective. By carefully concentrating on their foe, they can freeze the thoughts of their victim, in effect paralyzing them, leaving them helpless to attack. One can only be kept in check for a short time, if at all, as this is a very demanding task. Once the hold on the target's mind is lost, their thought auras are left scrambled for a short time, making it impossible to attempt this form of attack again, until the target's thought process stabilizes.
