Druids, who have become attuned to nature and its inhabitants, are able to call on the patron gods who favor the animals. Certain gods take the form of animals when they visit this realm, to better serve their interests. Magical spells are taught to druids which grants them power from that god and gives the abilty to change into the form that god takes when he decides to walk among the mortals. Bears, owls, unicorns, and shrikes are a few of the choices one may attempt to change into. This is only a temporary change, lest one become trapped in the form of an animal, while useful is not a desirable effect to become permanent.
List of things that enhance or grant access to this spell:

  • The spell will wear out during time, but the duration is usually very long. Death instantly resets you to your normal form though as does the spell restore.

Owls are the wisest of woodland creatures. Known mainly for their wisdom, owls tend to be recluse birds, mainly found in heavily wooded forests. They can fly, regenerate death and see magic. Owls have the following emotions: tu-whit, blink, and whistle.

Unicorns are mythical beast which are highly inelligent and have been nearly extinct since the Last Age. Possessing knowledge which far outstrips any other race currently present in the wilderness. They are also known to be extremely mischievous. They can see magic, have a faster than normal heart beat and heal better in light. Unicorns have the following emotions: prance, pierce_horn <pl>, and hoof.

Bears wander around the woods, bashing trees and stomping everything in their way. Their strength is soo great they don't realise they are killing everything in their path, so a good idea would be to avoid the path bears take. They can eat corpses, walk without getting tired and see in dark. Bears have the following emotions: hug, stomp, and claw.

Shrikes are masters of the air. Incredibly gracefully with raking sharp talons they are considered the most dangerous of air predators. Given their michievous wickedness, you are advised to stay clear of them. They can fly, see invis and see in dark. Shrikes have the following emotions: shriek, flap, and talon.
