Initiative is usually decided in the first seconds of battle, and with it, many times the results as well. Striking the first blow can be a huge advantage, especially if attacking an unprepared foe. By striking first, and drawing on strength from within, a tremendous first strike can be made, accompanied by a harsh battlecry. Many times this will catch a foe unawares, allowing him to be taken advantage of.
