- If you are not holding your mage staff when completing the spell, the spell fails but still agros the target.
- The staff shoots from zero to three rays per round and the NPC needs to withstand for four rounds of rays or you wont get any rep from bursting. So don't bother shooting too small mobs.
- With two types the damage done/sp (without any resists) is around the same as with your main type blast.
- With five types the spell does around as much damage as two main blasts (without any resists).
- The spell gives less essence per type than casting the weakest spell of that type. So don't think you could hoard essence by using it.
