Rixx-tec information text

This page is meant to gather relevant information around rixx-tec.

Event help

[General]

 The Recycle event happens periodically. The goal is to gather zinium by recycling 
 items and to use that zinium to build unique Rixx-Tec items. Rixx-Tec items from 
 previous events can also be recycled to gain additional bonuses to new Rixx-Tec 
 items.  

 During the event, newbies may discover zinium orbs when killing mobs and return 
 those to gain zinium. 

 During the event, monsters may drop blueprints. Blueprints are tradeable and can 
 unlock additional bonuses and gear.

[Zinium]

 Zinium is gained by recycling items at the robot 'offer <item/noeq>'. The Zinium 
 value of an item can be checked using 'value <item/noeq>'. The same type of item 
 can only be recycled a few times for each player.
 When the current recycle event begins, the total gathered zinium is reset to 
 zero for all players.

[Rixx-Tec]

 You can build (3) unique Rixx-Tec items using zinium you have acquired. You can 
 only actively use (2) Rixx-Tec items at a time. Having more than 2 Rixx-Tec items 
 on you at the same time will result in the items overloading with hazardous 
 consequences.

 You can recycle your old Rixx-Tec items when new recycle event begins by recycling
 them at the robot (recycle <item>). Recycling Rixx-Tec gear that has at least 
 (6) zinium enhancements will give you an upgrade level on your next Rixx-Tec gear.

[Runes]

 As you gather Zinium, you are eligible to receive runes which can be infused into 
 your Rixx-Tec gear. 'list rewards' at robot shows all the runes you are eligible 
 to get. There are a lot more runes available than can be infused into the gear. 
 You can only infuse runes to Rixx-Tec items created during that Recycle event. 
 When a new recycle event begins,  All old runes are destroyed. This means that 
 you have to redeem your runes and build your Rixx-Tec items before the next 
 recycle event starts. 

 Rixx-Tec items have a default zinium capacity of (9). Some items such as rigs 
 have a lower capacity.  There is a special rune that can be used to increase the 
 zinium capacity of an item by (1). Each rune will display, in its description, how 
 much using that rune will reduce the capacity. Some special runes such as fast 
 metabolism, do not reduce the zinium capacity at all.

[Blueprints]

 Some of the runes require a special blueprint before you can obtain them. Blueprints 
 can be found from monsters during the recycle event. Blueprints are tradeable. You 
 can 'list blueprints' at the robot to see all of the available blueprints and how 
 many you have read and consumed. All old blueprints are destroyed when a new recycle
 event begins. Blueprints are consumed upon use. If there are multiple runes requiring 
 the same blueprint,you will need to own multiple blueprints to receive all the runes.

[Upgrades]

 You can choose a special effect for your Rixx-Tec gear.  The command 'list upgrades' 
 at the robot will show you what is available. This will display all available upgrades
 and your available upgrade levels. Higher upgrade levels are optained by recycling old
 Rixx-Tec gear with (6) or more zinium enhancements.

[Rixx Robot]

 During the Recycle event, The equipment munching robot can be found at SC. A few weeks 
 after the recycling event is over, the robot is moved to a warehouse located near the 
 Arelium docks.
