Ruins of a wooden structure. These are the ruins of an old wooden structure, now fallen. The wooden parts are worn and rotten as the elements have taken their toll over the years. The walls are mostly standing but the roof has caved in, leaving only a shell of a building that once was. All of the furniture has collapsed into piles of rotten wood, once no longer protected by the roof. The floor is a green layer of soft, wet moss. Above you is a hot, slowly moving, cloudy sky. A light wind stirs the air.

Wading in an underground river.

You are standing in an underground river which flows lazily onwards. The water
is crystal clear and you can see the sediment at the bottom. The smooth cavern
walls indicate that the water level has been a lot higher in the past, almost
to the ceiling. The real mystery here is where is all this water flowing to
or coming from. It's mind boggling.

An endless scorching desert. The hot, scorching desert spans as far as the eye can see. The sand is fine-grained and burning hot. Your movement in the sand is like treading in water, with the exception that this is painful. The hot sand slowly abrades the skin right off from your feet. The wind blows the sand into every orifice of your body and there seems to be no way of hiding from it. A sizeable crater has been dug here.
