Rangers have, over the years, blazed many trails in the wilderness that are only visible to those trained in the art of pathfinding. Either leading a large company, or traveling alone, this allows them to save much time and effort while traveling, making them excellent guides and runners. |

To use this skill you must first remember a location with the location memory skill. You can 'use location memory at list' to see the list of your remembered locations. You must remember locations on specific terrain types for the pathfinding skill to work. The following terrain types must be destination terrain types:
- * f - Forest
- * F - Deep Forest
- * h - Hills
- * H - Highlands
- * j - Jungle
- * s - Swamp
- * t - Tundra (untested)
- * v - Valley
This skill does not seem to work well at all for low skill levels. At 50% I was only able to find my way 8 spaces or so, but at 60% it seems to work quite a bit better, still not far enough to be incredibly useful though.
