The world is full of animals and monsters, some of which are cute and cuddly,
others feral and dangerous. However one thing that seperates the intelligent
races from these beasts is that beasts can be domesticated, tamed, and
controlled. Through the ages countless types of animals have been brought in
from the wild and made into servants, guards, and beasts of burden. It is a
difficult task, requiring time, willpower, and (all too often) resistance to
pain. However the rewards speak for themselves.
