One skill taught to all rangers by their mentors, is how to scout an area. This allows them to peer into nearby areas and sense what foes wait there. Knowing their surroundings is one of the key traits rangers thrive on. This is one of the abilities rangers possess that make them excellent advanced scouts for armies, especially in heavily wooded areas, where they can make use of their other abilities to remain undetected. Peering outside our environment takes ALMOST no endurance. When trying to glean extra information, some strain is placed on your neck vertebra, however, so some endurance is needed in order to perform.
