It contains a tale; Through slaying numerous sorcerers in her existance, the Groke has learned much about properly channeling and preserving her own power. Using her magical artifacts for aid, she is able to postpone her need for regeneration almost indefinitely. This has allowed her to become an even more formidable foe in battle.
