About your articles
Nice that we have another write, but some minor issues to think about. Article names should be in singular, not in plural. Secondly, headlines follow the regular capitalization rules. Also articles that don't belong to any category, will have hard time to be found nor noticed. Articles should address their title, no less not much more. The way you had edited the guild it made handful of main articles pointless e.g. all background articles. BlackSmith 23:27, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feedback. I will try to be more consistent with article names an headlines.
- I agree that discovery of articles is a problem and I'll try to be better about including categories, but I think there needs to be a more obvious hierarchy perhaps with a top level page and/or a set of menus to aid in discovery. The left hand nav bar is a good start, but not sufficient. Many of the categories are just not useful in their current form. In the case of the List of organs page, I don't know of an applicable category though maybe there is an organ category (seemed doubtful at the time). I announced that page in the bat channel, but other than that I didn't really know how to advertise it.
- I'm sorry that you feel that the background articles aren't useful anymore due to my edits to the guild page, but do you not agree that the guild page is far more useful now. Perhaps the background articles could include more information about how/why one might pick nomad over evil relig and so on. Things that are not obvious to newbies like, 'good relig tanks have a very hard time getting a decent hp max' and so on could be put into the background pages. Pisano 14:18, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
