| A tiara wrought out of barbed wire, this wreath of barbs is a mockery of crowns that human-rulers use. It is Az'anzyl's headpiece, a symbol of his tyranny and oppression. Usually he makes his earthly advocate to wear it, to remind that person to whom their obedience belongs to. Az'anzyl's blood-crown is a powerful artifact, nonetheless: by wearing it his minions gain power to extend his rule and gather more souls under his command. But the wreath of barbs is heavy, and the barbs perforate deep into the wearer's flesh. That is why blood always stains the crown.
