How to know items' value

There are a few ways to check an item's value.

Going to Damogran with the item in your inventory and listing your inventory will show all your items Values.

Casting identify at the item will give you a close to correct item value.

What is this information good for, then?

Knowing the value of your item can help you to determine which version of a piece of equipment you have if there are multiple versions of the same item.

Items with higher values are more useful when sacrificing the items to your race shrine, or better to make spider demons with, thus instead of selling your items to the shop, you could potentially make more money selling it on sales.
