Also known as 'ticking'. One heart beat being a tick.
After combat, the first tick you get is called a combat tick and it will grant half what you would normally get.
You normally tick in 30 sec intervalls. Having faster than normal metabolism reduces this time.
If you happen to see something like this 'Game driver tells you: You have no heart beat !' you should visit Areliums hospital. If they can't help you there, contact a wiz.
