Type of skill : special skill. Affecting stats: De/strStr. It uses 5 endurance points. In order for carpenters to fashion items and buildings out of wood, the wood must first be obtained from forests. Cutting down raw trees and milling them into usuable lumber requires much skill and time. It is not simply enough to chop down the tree and cut it into pieces. Doing this yields low quality lumber, and wastes much of the tree. By using basic lumberjacking know-how, this process can be much easier and much more productive, yielding more, high-quality lumber. Experienced lumberjacks can also use this skill to harvest stems of vegetation from smaller plants, although the yield is not nearly as high in terms of the amount of raw material.
