Masters of evil can apply this spell to their friends to make them stronger and tougher, but with decreased mental abilities. Or, they can cast the spell on opponents, giving the same benefits and drawbacks. In any event, the transformation is both painful and surprising, and the subject might very well resent the change. Werewolves are known to be vulnerable to fire.
