The frontside of the shield seems to be some kind of mirror. In the otherwise highly polished surface, you see a canine face crudely drawn with blood. Underneath the blood you notice finely etched and very lively picture of [[demon]], staring at you with vivid eyes. It seems that it is almost alive.
