Alcohol can be found in many forms, ale, beer, fine wines, and various other liquors. It is said that the refinement of the production of alcohol preceded many other advancements in the known world, such as metalworking, even the study of magic. Some use alcohol as entertainment, others use it as a panacea for their ills. Others even use it as a source of energy -- many will attest to the single drunkard in the pub who requires several others to subdue him. For all the 'good' feelings alcohol can bring, if used in excess, it can also bring around nasty side-effects. Those who over time have honed their tolerance and skill in drinking alcohol, can drink much more then those who have not, with less chance of a hang-over.
