Description:
It bears similarity to many shields of the earlier times; large in size and heavy to carry or even heave to protect against the enemies' blows. The shield is not easily handled, but its rectangular shape makes it an excellent shield when moving in phalanx formation or when attempting to form a shield wall to protect against enemy archers.
