Essential HC features
The purpose of this page is to gather all the HCBat features that make it hardcore in case of a possible sync. The idea is that these features would be added on top of the synced world, perhaps with some patch/diff wizardry or other magical means.
The hardcore spirit is well described in the original news post where HC was announced. Essentially what makes it HC is the fast paced gameplay, fast leveling in case of death and the possibility of doing incredible heroics as a reward for surviving to a high level. Of course, there must be risks to match the rewards as well.
It is by no means certain that a sync will happen, or that the wizards will have the time or motivation to do any of this, but it's not certain that it won't happen either.
Feel free to add any features you find to be essential to HC. Not every detail, only the essentials.
- Remove instakills from most areas and use Juggelo's instakill protection
- Higher stats, much like they are now
- Regens : 3x on equipment and such and ticks coming faster.
- TP shop, temp boon with cash, TP potions on monsters
- Keep all the eq mobs that have been altered to suit HC as they are
- Exp tune : Mobs give loads of more exp in HC compared to flower.
- Mobs with generic equipment spawn random magicals.
