| Mummification dates back to the times of antiquity. The earliest priests who
worshipped Draen-Dalar performed burial rites and commonly whispered a prayer
dedicated to the person who had deceased. Often the royal families and
aristocrats would prefer towrap their loved ones in expensive linen sheets
carefully woven by the seamstresses. The process itself has experienced few
changes to help the preservation of the body. The common procedure is
evisceration and dehydration of the cadaver before tightly wrapping it into
linen. The old traditions that respected the last will of the deceased have
transformed into something that carries a more malignant purpose. Today the
priests place the mummies of their defeated foes into tombs specifically built
to preserve them and use them as a magical reagent for their death spells.
