MAIL CLOAK

The mail cloak is more of a piece of armour than it is a garment. It is
made from "woven" rings of material, giving added thickness without 
added weight. This allows it to turn aside blades before they reach the
wearer's back. Because the weight of an additional layer of chain mail
would be too heavy for most warriors, the mail cloak is short, only covering
the shoulders and back.
