They functioned so that these tiny rings were squeezed and the sea obeyed for a while. One day one of the blacksmiths accidentally forged a bit too big ring that it couldn't be put to a finger, but was worn as a necklace. Other blacksmiths were terrified, as the size in it might possess very dangerous magic. On the contrary to the common belief, the necklace not only maintained its magical power, but was also safe to be used. |
