A black eye patch just like the one the sailors use. This one has some marks of dampness on it but otherwise it looks quite well-preserved. The twinkle seems to come from pearl dust sprinkled on the surface of the eye patch. It makes you wonder why someone has decided to make such a piece of armour as it has little protection value and it's quite ugly too once you give it a real thought.
It contains a tale;
Long ago on his early days of adventuring the legendary sea captain Avawn-Oynfgree saved the heir of goddess Loraen from a certain death and the goddess decided to bless the noble man's journey. She offered an insignificant piece of armour to him as a thanks for what he'd done. The goddess warned Avawn-Oynfgree that the enchantment wasn't gonna last forever but only for a certain period of the man's life.
Later on Avawn-Oynfgree was shipwrecked and in the battle for his life he lost the precious item. After that rumours about the item having been found have been heard here and there...
