| The legionaries of Kharim sometimes hang the heads of their enemies on wooden stakes so that those heads are seen from longer distances as well. It is a greatly demoralizing act that causes fear amongst the weak. While hanging a head on stake is a vile and disgraceful act, the beheading itself is seen as very natural act in the eyes of Kharim as even the highest ranking officers of Kharim are traditionally beheaded after their death as an act of respect. The cultists of Kharim believe that by cutting the head off, the trapped soul is set free from the dead vessel. As part of the ritual, souls are invited to respect the memory of the recently departed one and then guide the lost soul to its new domain.
