These are some beautiful leggings actually made from moonstone. They glow with a faint opalish light. The light is not strong enough to see by but could give you away in the dark. They will provide nice protection to the front of both of your legs and are held securely by leather straps and brass buckles. They are hinged at the knee with a small plate covering for the kneecap.
It contains a tale;
These leggings were originally discovered by a thief, who lifted them from a black dragon's lair. This thief used the leggings to pay off a high ranking official who had put a price on his head. The thief was later found with his throat slit and the official was discoverd flayed. The leggings were missing and no one knows what really happened to them. It has been rumored that a master assasin obtained the leggings as a gift to his secret lover. The only thing found of the assassin was his head. In all of the stories of the moonstone leggings the owner seems to have met a tragic end.
