Fields needed

Should there be fields/categorys for pcitys that have banks, adventurer guilds, stables and so on? BlackSmith 22:20, 16 August 2008 (EEST)

This seems like an impossible task (to keep track of individual player city buildings). Please use your own reasoning on these matters. -- Milk

By providing the template with fields that have simple boolean value (like done in Template:race for infravision, see in dark, FHB, rebirth and so on) those that are intrested promoting/updating their city can simply put a x on those fields if the city has it. For one person gathering information from all the pcitys, this would indeed be a huge task but that is not the idea of wiki's. By providing simple tools like templates that can be copy and pasted or forms with fields, that either are filled or left empty, even the most novice wiki writer can contribute.

Seting aside the ammount of work done, I think the template could provide such tools. There is nothing like that now and the more information the wiki has to offer, the better. BlackSmith 12:03, 19 August 2008 (EEST)

I know very well what the idea behind wiki is, however it hasn't realized here (at least not yet), we have just a handful of contributors. E.g. how many of those cities were added by others than you? I agree it would be NICE to have all the information, but it's just not feasible and one should priorize what is important and what is not. I find this information you suggest is not useful at all, I've myself never needed this kind of information. Never. I just can run to next pcity (they are oftentimes plenty to be found relatively near each other) if the one I am in currently doesn't have the facilities I need. It takes me less time to run to another pcity nearby than try to search wiki and Ggr maps where the hell to go to. But whatever, add this to template if you want to. At least then there are means for "advertising" ones pcity as you put it.
