Usually worn for modesty and warmth, it can also be worn for its decorative capability, though this is usually only done by the rich who can afford fine linens. Once material is gathered, it is sewn together and then dyed the desired colors. Once this is done, further steps can be taken to strengthen and beautify the garment.
