Armband of war

Description:	This armband looks like it is carved from a single crystal of carnelian, since there are no joints or segments. Its faceted length makes two full turns as it circles about, ending in two gem-like knobs at the ends. Carved in relief in each knob is a marvelously detailed hawk. It contains a tale; King Leo, the leader of the catfolk in the treetop village, formed two armbands as symbols of his authority. This one granted him power in battle, making his spells even more dangerous. When the king heard of the thief known as the Trilloch, he swore out a warrant on him. Amused, Trilloch stole the king's entire treasury, including this.
