It is a small glass lens, with a golden frame and a golden chain to prevent it from falling and breaking. The len has been ground and polished with extreme skill. The lens seems to change it color a bit when looked at from different directions: faint shade of red turning into hint of green, transforming into electric blue. Wearing this eyepiece will surely make you look smart.
