Magical energy has always been used as a powerful weapon. Due to this, certain spells have been woven that take the opposite magical aura. Similar to the field spell, anti-magic-field, this spell is able to create an aura around the target which is able to lessen the amplitude of pure magic that attempts to penetrate it to attack the target. A result of this, is a reduction in damage done when these types of attack spells are used.
