MEDIUM SHIELD (shield) ====================== Weight: ~3 kg Rank(s): 1st row A medium shield is usually round and is carried on the forearm, gripped with the shield hand. Its light weight as compared to a medium shield permits the user to carry other items in that hand, although he cannot wield or carry another weapon. This shield, or targe, is usually a round shield about two feet in diameter. Some later medieval shields were triangular or square in shape. Some skill(s) usable with the weapon: Shield bash and parry's. See also: Target shield, buckler shield, large shield and full shield.
