Message for the Newbie Questers
The world of BatMUD is vast and always expanding. The area quests are numerous and their official BatMUD difficulty tag relative to the level of the players their creators were targeting. A quest might be Not Very Hard (for a Highbie), and as such IMPOSSIBLE (for a newbie). Even the Easy (for Newbies in a party) quest might be Challenging (for a Newbie Solo). It must also be noted that some quests, although classified as easy, require a specific spell or item which might not be as easily attainable for every character build. If you find that you are stuck, it might be time to party up or put it aside for a future Reinc.
What follows is an attempt to reclassify the area quests into those intended for Newbies, Midbies and Highbies, based on the difficulty set by the quest author, the amount of brain/knowledge/power it takes, and the area it takes place in. Of course, the separation is not strict and a party of determined Newbie might well take on Midbie Quests if they so desire!
In short, have fun questing and don't forget BatMUD is a game to play for a looong time, no need to rush!
- Anks the Newbie Quester
Quests for Newbies
(Or regainers)
Definition of newbie is apparently anything from Lvl 1 noob to a Lvl 80 mortal. So, please exercise caution when entering a new area, even if the quest is listed as Easy. It might be easy because it is very straight-forward. Classification is based on how big mobs you need to kill.

If you are the quest maker and want to specify what 'bie you had in mind, feel free! Otherwise, if some new/mid/highbies would like to give their input, the page author is kinda newbie-ish and has no idea where these should be because they haven't poked their nose in there yet.
