BACKPACK

This special armour also acts as a container, making it a "rig". About 
the size of the wearer's torso, it has a main compartment for holding the
bulk of its contents,  and often a few more smaller pockets for other
things. Backpacks provide no armour protection, but they do reduce the
encumberance of the items inside while worn.
